If you have not done so previously, you will need to first add your MOVO account as a non-Chase account:
1) Log in to your Chase account from the Chase website (not the Chase app)
2) Click on Pay & Transfer
3) A drop down will appear with options. Click on Transfer Money
4) Click on External Accounts
5) Click on Add External Account
6) Fill in your Routing and Account Number for your MOVO Account
7) Accept Chase Terms and click on Submit Request for Deposits
Over the next 2 to 3 business days, Chase will deposit two small amounts that will appear as "JPMorgan Chase Auth Crdt." When you see these deposits, write down the amounts and then sign into your Chase account. Return to the External Accounts page. Click "See/edit external accounts" and follow the instructions to verify your access to MOVO. If you can't find the link, just ask, “How can I verify my external account?” in the Chase search bar. Once you're finished, you'll be able to transfer to your MOVO account.
Be sure you have the routing number and your direct deposit number (do NOT use your 16 digit card number as this will not be accepted). Your Direct Deposit account information can be found in the MOVO app. Go to Main Menu >> MovoLoad >> Direct Deposit.
To transfer funds to MOVO from your Chase account, follow the steps below:
1) Log in to your Chase account
2) Click on Pay & Transfer
3) A drop down will appear with options. Click on Transfer Money
4) Enter the following information
a) From: Select the Chase account from which the funds will be transferred
b) To: Select your MOVO account
c) Amount
d) Transfer Date
e) Memo (Optional)
5) Select Continue, then Submit
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE "WIRE TRANSFER" TO SEND MONEY TO YOUR ACCOUNT AS IT WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
