MOVO Card has recently experienced some unauthorized account openings. We take this crime seriously. It was a crime against MOVO, our team members and most importantly our customers. Our top priority is taking care of you and it is our responsibility to protect your funds and information while you are a MOVO customer.
We understand that a situation like this creates stress and anxiety about your access to your funds. As a reminder your deposits remain FDIC insured (Metropolitan Commercial Bank Member FDIC). Please know that we are working as swiftly as we can to ensure that you have access to your funds in a safe and secure manner as quickly as possible.
In the days ahead, we will be working with our fraud experts to create a dedicated portal for you to utilize to verify your identification so that we can unblock your account and to understand the plan going forward. To access the portal, please log into the app, and go to MoPro Support. In the MoPro Support tab you will find the solution we are working on including detailed instructions of the exact steps you will need to take to complete our ID verification protocol. Please bear with us through this process to ensure your account is safeguarded with all the necessary security measures to allow the proper access to your funds.
